Saturday, February 23, 2008 Feeling Stronger!!!!

Don't ya love the T'shirt. Dawn and Greg's friend Angie found this for me! I just love it. I thought some of you would love to see me as I get ready for my next step in this journey. I know some of you live far away and miss seeing me.HAHAH. So here I am. Yes mom I do have COURAGE!

The thought for the day!

My family and friends
are a cirle of strength
and love.
With every birth and
every union
the circle grows.
Every joy shared
adds more love.
Every crisis faced
together
makes the
circle
stronger!
Well the week has finished and it was a pretty normal one for that. I am pretty sore from the port, but I am managing. My sister-in-law and her family set out for ST. Thomas. A vacation they truly deserve. I sure will miss them, but I know they will be having fun! (don't forget to have a drink on me at Fish-Net and Hookers)

My girlfriends from school, Cheryl and Linda took me to the show on Wednesday. It was great to get out for a little while. I even got to do some school work. How sweet was that. Dinner was delivered by Matt's mom and dad. Thanks mom and dad. Matt finally got a night out... he went to see Bon Jovi... with Jenny, Ross and Kim. thanks guys for giving him a break. I just sat home and watched American Idol.

Thursday was quiet day at home. I didn't go anywhere. Sat home and rested. I did have surprised visitors, Joe and Donna . They delivered dinner and conversation. It was great seeing them. Thank you!
My sister also came that night and brought me a goody bag for my visits to the clinic. Inside the bag was a hand made scarf and blanket, all with my saying on it...Live, Love, Laugh. They are just beautiful. Matt's sister Kim stopped by for a quick hello. I just love seeing people.
Friday was a fun day for me, I got to get my hair done. I feel 100% better! Thanks Anne for taking me there and waiting for me to get finished. Lunch was at my favorite place Olga's. Jaqueline did manage to call me and ask,"What does it mean when you can't open your eyes, because they are gooped shut!" I told her get to the clinic fast you have PINK EYE! I feel so bad I can't be there. Here roomates were great and they took care or her. Thanks guys. Dinner was compliments of the Sieradzki family. We sure are eating well!
Thanks from my Washington Family, I got my house cleaned by Tina the cleaning lady today! I just love a clean house.
Myles had one of his playoff games last night. They played a great game but lost in overtime 2-1. Today is thier last game of the season. My mom and dad are coming in today for a couple of days. They will be staying at my Aunt Bernie and Uncle Jerry. thanks guys for letting them stay there.
The rest of the week-end is up in the air. All depends on how I feel. We might take a road trip to see Jac. But we will have to wait and see.
Oh, before I sign off...Hey Berlin family thanks for the great chicken dinner on Tuesday. Myles loved it. I need the recipe. Maybe all of you who bring food need to attach your recipe. I am so greatful for everybody and the help I am getting .
Enjoy your week-end. Look for your next blog update after my doctors appt..on Tuesday.
Remember to Live, Love and Laugh...One Day at A Time!
Love you all
Life is a dance.....God's love is the music....
Julie...
(My prayers and support go out to my dear friend Lori who lost one of her friends last week. If there is anything I can do for you Lori please call. Fear not my friend...God is with you!)

Hey Julie,
Great picture, love the lipstick color!!! It was nice to visit the other day, if you want company call we could watch a movie, or if your walls are closing in on you we could take a "field trip".
I'm watching The Birds, that movie was so scary when I saw it as a kid, not so much now, but Kaitlyn hates birds. I would call her a tell her about it but my parent don't have cable, heck they don't even have a cordless telephone. I hope she is planning on coming home soon, I miss having her here.
Thinking about you. Sending a big hug.

love you,

I just got the chance to look at the blog. (busy weekend with Chris Sr sick with the flu, go by my mom's to do taxes, and a pampered day at the spa with my girlfriend for our bday's) You look great! Nice cut, and great shirt. Your friends just found it? Amazing. You're not missing anything being in the house. It is so cold out; I'm done with winter and driving in the snow. Is Jac doing better with her eye? Take care

Hey Julie,

Just heard recently about all that's been going on. You're looking great! Keep the faith, you're in my thoughts each day and prayers in between. Love your saying, especially on your shirt. Keep warm and I'll check in on you again soon. Great idea keeping in touch through a blog!

Julie,
For those friends that are having a difficult time with the blog, have them check their security settings. Sometimes it is the cause of the problem if it is set too high.
