Monday, January 21,2008: Marvelous Monday

I am very excited to say Today is the day I get to type the Blog by myself. Jac was wonderful in keeping you well informed. Know it is my turn and Matts. So here it goes. My first full day home was great. Matt got to watch TV with me at 2:00 a.m. and serve me breakfast in bed at 5:30 a.m. How sweet it was. (for me any ways). Later in the morning it was my dads turn to make me some toast. It has been many, many years that he had to do that for me (but he loved it).
My sense of smell and hearing has intensified greatly. Driving my family crazy. I can smell if you had onions and if you are wearing perfume. Today, I had the pleasure of smelling my dad, Matt and Myles sneaking in a few White Castles. Busted!!!!

The Washington Elementary Basket arrived by Linda and Cheryl. ( a basket fulled of goodies that will come on some Monday's). Thanks for the stuff guys I truely enjoy it. Joe to answer your question NO I don't have any pink stilettos. Will you buy me some size 7. Cheryl and Linda thanks for the cute poem. Which I know was Cheryl's idea.

Jacqueline is on her way back to school. A very sad time for me. She has been a great help. I know she will sneak home this week-end even though I told her to stay up there.

Wednesday, is the next big step. All 33 staples will be removed at 7:50 a.m. (boy that is early).I let you know about that.

Today was just a slow day of eating, drinking liquids (yes I said liquids not liquor) walking and sleeping. I am in great hands: my mom and dad, matt and myles.

How sweet it is to me home. Thank you everyone.

Remember my motto through all this is LIVE, LOVE LAUGH !!!!
(Thats what my fortune cookie read today. Which was given by my sister-in-law Dawn. Have you every seen a rhinestone fortune cookie?)

Julie,

I am so relieved and happy that you are at home. Bunco won't be the same without you. No one yells like you do! I really miss you. I never thought you would be on my mind so much. I am so proud of you. You are, by far, one of the strongest women I know. Not because of what you went through, but because of how you went through it. There is an incredible style about you. Okay, enough mush for today.

Be a good girl - Lisa

Glad to hear you're home. I know that has to make you feel SOOOOO much better. Too bad you couldn't have those dissolving staples. I'll be thinking of you as I'm sitting in my finance meetings (not sure which is more painful).

There really is no place like home, now Dorothy had some happening red shoes.
Hope the staples came out easy, it really sounds painful, maybe you should have some liquor before that office visit. Okay I'll have some for you.
take it easy, thinking about you daily.
